Small ruin:
In 2008, several Exeter grad
students in the history department formed Small ruin after discovering a shared
love of indie music during a freshers party at the university. The three original
founders – Andy Walters, Ben Smith, Max Wilson all dropped out of school to
peform full-time, while Griff Thomas - stayed in school and left the band upon
graduation to pursue careers in entomology.
They are soon going on their
3rd UK tour around medium sized venues. These include O2 academy’s in
Birmingham, Glasgow, Sheffield, Newcastle and Oxford.
