Plan of Action (21/09/15 - 27/09/15)

This week, as a group we have mainly been focused on drawing and planning out our story board, this is going to give us an idea of how the shots will look via an animatic, which will consist of a video of each shot on the story board for the time that they are due to be on for. This takes careful planning the shots have to match up with points in the original video in order for the editing to be successful. It is for this reason that we don't have many scheduled tasks on this action plan. This weeks research tasks have been mainly allocated to Joe.

This weeks tasks for the group members are:

Nathan Beard
  • Write up and publish a post about the updated blog look. (to be carried out in the week).
  • Create the animatic
Joe Ford
  • Post an update on the storyboard (including photos of all of the group drawing).
  • Conduct some individual research detailing two audience members.
  • Research and write up and publish some camera shot ideas to be used in the video.

Ben Wakeford
  • Write up and publish a post about the updated Twitter page look. (to be carried out in the week).

Plan of Action (14/09/15 - 20/09/15)

This week, the plan is to refine and add to the detail of our research and planning. We also aim to make the band feel more realistic with a twitter page, which will add to the professionalism of the final product. It is important that each of our group members have set tasks and that we communicate in order to perfect the work we are creating and add depth to the research. We will also, as a group decide upon the location for the video to be filmed at.

This weeks tasks for the group members are:

Nathan Beard
  • Write up a post about how we organize the tasks on the schedule in order to keep on track.
  • Post the song lyrics for our chosen song.

Plan of Action (07/09/15 - 13/09/15)

As with last week we need to all contribute to completing take set out on the coursework schedule in order to keep on track of the work we need to carry out. This week is an important one in our journey towards completing our music video as we need to not only decide on the band name, create a logo, evaluate our market (including what they wear and what they are interested in). But also we need to pitch to our peers to gather feedback. Therefore most of the effort this week will go into making that as best as we can.

This weeks tasks for the group members are:

Nathan Beard
  • Research the fashion that the audience like
  • Create and decide upon a logo for the band
  • Create a moodpboard about the target audience
  • Create the pitch via animoto
Joe Ford
  • Aid in developing the words to use for the pitch.

Ben Wakeford
  • Create a band biography
  • Create a band name

Plan of Action (04/09/15 - 06/09/15)

This week we need to each complete a number of tasks from the schedule in order to keep up to date with the work and ensure the work we produce is of the best caliber. This week we need to watch lots of music videos and create a shortlist so that we can come to a decision on which song we plan on doing, that is the primary concentration for this week. First though it is important that we do some background research into the genres we prefer and the audience we are aiming the video at. It is important that we work together as a team this week in order to come to a serious decision.

This weeks tasks for the group members are:

Nathan Beard

  • Identify the genre
  • write out the song decision post
  • Write up the weekly summary (following a similar format to this post)

Joe Ford

  • Write up the shortlist for the music videos we like on a post (embedding the videos from YouTube)
  • Write out the post detailing the intended audience.

Ben Wakeford

  • Ben only just joined the group and doest have any scheduled tasks this week for that reason, he will have a set of allocated tasks in next weeks plan of action.
