We have now been able to cast a replacement band member for Max (who is now permanently unavailable). And he will be introduced to the song and video ideas today ready for filming tomorrow.
We contacted a significant number of potential candidates, many candidates weren't available for briefing and filming on the three day we had chosen and therefore were unsuitable for the role.
In the end we narrowed it down to two candidates and chose Louis Grocott for the role.
We are happy with this decisions and see Louis to be a valuable addition to the team.

Filming Dates
We have decided that we are going to film on the 26th and 27th of November, this will be at the location we plan to shoot in Leicester City Centre. The shots will be taken in places similar to those in the location mood bards of the urban environments, the lighting for our video is a mixture between sundown type lighting and darker more night like lighting. For this reason we are going to film from about 5PM until we finish with the shots we need on each day.
One of our band members is unavailable on one of the days so all of the shots relating to him will be done on the 27th.
The test shots taken on 20/11/15 were not of satisfactory quality and will only be used to demonstrate a vague representation of the ideas we have.

Organizing Props
In order to film our music video successfully we need to organise the props prior to filming.
The nature of our video means that we don't need to use many props, however there are a few items that we require:
- Guitars (we plan to get these from the music department and a group member that owns one)
- UV paint (we will buy this on Amazon)
- UV light (we plan to buy this on Amazon)
- Speaker for when we need to play the music in the street (a group member owns one)
Most of the props are either already owned or can be ordered for next day delivery.

Filming Update
As of 12/10/15 we haven't yet started to film our video, however we have been working hard in order to finish our plans on the locations, props and roles so that as soon as we start filming (ideally half term so 19/10/15 - 25/10/15) we are ready to start and will need little interruption to plan something.
I believe that this is going to be highly beneficial so that we can get all the scenes filmed in the least amount of time possible in order to maximize time editing, this will allow us to finish the video earlier. This will give us time to decide what we like and what we don't like, and due to the fact that we allowed time for this we may be able to alter the video to incorporate these changes.
We have now finalized the fact that we want to to film in two locations, in order to achieve the best results possible (in a city street and in a studio). This means that we need to organised a studio (ideally this would be the one the school have available). And get the equipment ready.

Mood Board - Studio (Potential Location)
I have compiled some images into a mood board, the studio is a place that we feel would give a chance to really put the focus on the band members and the instruments which would give the video the 'stripped back' anti mainstream feel that indie music fans appreciate. This therefore makes the studio a good location to film our video. The disadvantages to using a studio is that it can sometimes come across as 'clinical' and blank or lacking in creativity, which is not the message we want to put across.
Mood board - Urban street (Potential Location)
I have made a mood board of an urban environment as I feel that this would be a good place to film our video. It fits in the the indie genre well as it is different and creative. It also has the added bonus of being cheap and easy to access. It offers plenty of opportunities to do some 'Cinematic style shots of the main singer and the other band members, as well as adding depth to the video.
A disadvantage to filming on the streets or in other such urban environments is that it can be difficult to get the right shot as there is always going to be people and other things in the way. It will therefore low down filming relatively significantly.
